Over 50% of eBay listings do not get sold.
Not the case with i-Cellar!

That's right, 50% of people's listings don't even sell. To sell well on eBay these days takes more than just being there: more than setting up accounts, writing a description, posting photos and shipping it out if it sells. Everyone does that.

So how does i-Cellar get to the point where not only is it getting sold, but for a decent price?

Method behind the Madness!

Read on to find out how...

Color Rendering and Technology: A Palette of Appeal...
i-Cellar ensures all our visual equipment is routinely calibrated so color rendering is exact and uniform among the majority of monitors and displays out there. We use a wide gamut color space with a fixed color temperature lighting system which furthers this process, and results in photographs rich in color subtleties that are accurate perceptually and methodically. While we use a host of skill, equipment, and technology, there is never any retouching or misrepresentation of the items themselves.

Feel the Photo: Items you can Virtually Touch...
By employing a professional photographer utilizing high-tech equipment, we allow bidders the ability to almost "Feel the Item" as if they were holding it in their hands, with photographs that virtually jump out of the listings to attract bidders. When we photograph them for display in your listings, they are under ideal lighting in a controlled environment to extract the most intricate details, so you're seeing your items as if they were to be displayed in a case or catalog. We pride ourselves on providing both buyers and sellers the best possible photo experience of their item.

Research, the Coca Cola way...
i-Cellar has created some of the most powerful internet-based market research formulas available, and we use them to the fullest extent. Our layered levels of research is used in all phases of our services: Item identification and description, title building, what to look for when inspecting, what to focus on when photographing, pricing strategy, and safest way to ship. Like Coca Cola, we won't divulge our recipe, but we can tell you it's not your average googling, inquiring forum post, or subscription to "Whats it worth!" magazine.

Tantalizing Titles: Tickle Those Search Engines!
In eBay, most searches are done on titles. i-Cellar constructs prominent titles during our research phase, and focuses completely on getting search engine attention. Significant search engine optimization (SEO) is the decisive factor in determining how many people find your item, and consequently bid on that item. It's not just eBay's search engine that finds our listings, and that's no accident.

Inspection and Description: Loupe de Loupe.
i-Cellar's examination and description process never ends until the item is packaged and sent. This phase is crucial to not only selling, but avoiding returns. Throughout photographing, listing, measuring and answering questions, we continually examine and re-examine to ensure our descriptions are accurate. We care about how the bidder receives their item, and about how we are perceived as consignees.

Listing Presentation: Minimalist.
i-Cellar presents our listings in a clean, clear, uncluttered and focused format. We don't stuff the description with flashy graphics, bordered templates or generally unnecessary content. We allow bidders to see detailed specifics quickly and smoothly to get the information they need, and implement a listing "experience" people appreciate.

Approachability, Availability, and other neat 'ability' words.
i-Cellar answers questions quickly, and consider comments actively. We are always available to anyone who would have questions, comments, or simply wants to make sure someone is there. We don't pretend to know everything, and always appreciate when someone has advice to offer, or a question further defines a consignment item. Pleasant people networking is, in some ways, even more important than all our other services; we value your opinions, questions, and expertise.

Packaging and Shipping: How creative can boxing stuff up be?
No eBay consignment store is complete without a capable packaging and shipping department, and i-Cellar is no exception. We are a fully functional packaging and shipping shop, and pride ourselves on the quality of packing materials, meticulous arrangement for safe arrival, speed of shipping and low cost of handling. We buy and use recycled, biodegradable shipping products whenever possible to do our part with active recycling. We also have some i-Cellar innovation -- packaging tricks that sometimes surprise and delight our bidders. One of those is we almost never use tape on the inside of our boxes. Tape is abrasive, risks getting residue on items, not conforming and not easily removed. What do we use instead? Ingenuity! For specifics, buy one of our items!
